The steam wand on my on Rancilio Silvia v4 starting leaking recently. When it was powered on, it would drip occasionally. It would drip significantly more when brewing. Turning the steam knob closed as tight as possible did not improve things.

So I began researching how I could fix it. Initially I thought I’d replace the value, or worst case, the entire steam wand assembly, but to my surprise I learned that it was rebuildable. Hooray for prosumer and right to repair.
